General Eligibility

Geology — Special Conditions

  • Must have passed Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2.
  • Minimum 45% aggregate in top 5 subjects.
  • Minimum 30% marks in Mathematics.
  • Must be physically fit for fieldwork and polarized microscope lab work.
  • Vocational board candidates not allowed.

Commerce — Special Conditions

  • Minimum 45% aggregate in top 5 subjects.
  • Must have passed Mathematics, Accountancy, or Business Mathematics.
  • Vocational Business & Commerce students eligible for Commerce or Arts.

Reservation of Seats

  • Seats reserved for EWS, SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B and DA as per Govt. of West Bengal rules.
  • Certificate must be uploaded during online application.
  • SC/ST/OBC certificates from other states treated as General Category.
  • No candidate can claim more than one reservation quota.

Merit lists are published online in descending order. Only shortlisted candidates can proceed with online seat booking.

Complete payment of admission fees online as per the published schedule. Keep the payment challan safely for physical document verification.

No Application Fees: As per Government regulation, no fees are required for the 4-year UG programme under NEP 2020.
