The Central Library of newly established Kabi Jagadram Roy Government General Degree College is renowned for its rich, rare and special collection since its inception. This newly setup library has nearly 5000 books as its core collection, comprises of all subjects being taught in the college along with many rare books related to local history, geology and its culture. Currently the library is managed manually by the faculty members as there is no librarian is appointed for our college. If we get proper support, very soon the library will be transformed to automation system.
READING HALL:
Library is located at ground floor (Room No. 105) of the building, spreading over 1576 sq. feet. At present, total number of current users is 450 approx. The central library does not have any separate reading room but the library hall is sufficient enough with a seating capacity of 25 at the reading hall which is usually occupied from 11:00am to 4pm on Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 1:00 pm on Saturday; by the users for reading purpose.
Library remain closed on Sundays and holidays. During vacations the library remains opened on special scheduled as all the departments maintain a special routine during Summer, Puja winter vacation.
