"Mathematics reveals its secrets only to those who approach it with pure love, for its own beauty." - Archimedes The Department of Mathematics at Kabi Jagadram Roy Government General Degree College has been a cornerstone of the institution since its inception in 2015. Initially affiliated with the University of Burdwan, the department transitioned to an affiliation with Bankura University starting from the academic year 2016-2017. Dedicated to fostering a robust learning environment, the department boasts a well-stocked seminar library with over 350 books on various mathematical topics. Three full-time faculty members are committed to providing high-quality education and personalized attention, ensuring that each student can thrive. These educators not only focus on teaching but also engage in active research and contribute to college administration. The Department of Mathematics is committed to academic excellence, offering both major and minor programs in mathematics beginning from the 2023-2024 academic year. The programs are structured under the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) system, as prescribed by Bankura University.
